Funny spot, memorable. This is the kind of spot that can be so funny when people tell others about it, they may leave out the brand and name of the automobile.

I commend the makers of this commercial for having the announcer say the name Corolla several times during the spot to reinforce what brand of car this commercial is presenting.

Almost a classic. I am surprised at the how the budweiser graphic was laid out in the final shot. I would have rather it not crowd the clysdales so much, span it out a bit.

I am not a fan of beer commercials in general because too many people drive drunk and then kill other people. However, this commercial is just a nice, solid, real people type of commercial.

The only thing I have never understood is the signature "raising the leg like they're going to take a leak thing" found at the end of all Captain Morgan spots.

I generally like signature endings but I'm not totally crazy about the raising of the leg thing. However, I don't know if I would change it at this point since it is a signature move that is now well known.

I would consider exploring an entire commercial where we see how the leg move came to be. Maybe it was explained in past commercials, but I don't recall it. I presume the leg raising might be a "captains pose", as the captain urinates off the starboard bow, kidding.

Getting back to the commercials, I LOVE the understatedness of the guys as they sheepishly accept the compliments they are receiving. I wish I could be as clever, and when a commercial can do that, they have won me over.

I like the concept of "unassuming regular guys who are clever" theme that Captain Morgans seem to use, I don't think that theme is done enough in the advertising industry, which makes the Captain Morgan commercials that much more different.

Don't worry, your secret is safe with me, nobody reads anymore, they just watch the youtube videos.
